What You'll Do
- →Cleans and maintains a safe work area.
- →Loads and unloads work on skids, table, machines, and/or trucks by hand, electric truck, or wheeled table; checks loads against delivery receipts.
- →Packs for shipments.
- →Read instructions; contact label makers; select cartons; wrap, label, and seal bands; count and number cartons; skid cartons; record information in log, write out sign packing slip; turns in slips with jackets and distribution list to check.
- →Operates, inspects, and maintains disintegrator and baler equipment, making necessary repairs and adjustments.
- →Operates production machines, including hand banding, automatic boxing, and automatic paper jogging equipment, to process materials.
- →Inspects, uses gauges, and collates classified materials.

- ✓Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
