This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Power Plant Electrician A, WB-2810-00 position with US Army Corp of Engineers, Little Rock District, Operations Division Hydropower Support Branch, located in Branson, MO.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a full range of work to include repair, testing, service, maintenance and overhaul of any or all types of powerhouse and switchyard electrical equipment.
- →Make periodic inspections of equipment.
- →Disassemble and examine parts for serviceability.
- →Reassemble and make proper adjustments to equipment.
- →Test various equipment: voltmeters, ohmmeters, current meters, oscilloscopes, mega-ohmmeters, frequency counters, and control loop calibrators.
