About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Competitive Service Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as a Plumber Leader (Motor Vehicle Operator) with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Jackson, SC.
What You'll Do
- →Insures that needed plans, blueprints, material, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
- →Urges or advises other employees to follow supervisor's instructions and to meet deadlines.
- →Provides information to supervisor on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations and problems.
- →Performs the full range of journeyman level plumbing tasks associated with the fabrication, modification, maintenance, and repair of interior plumbing systems.
