About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Bangor, Occupational Medicine Department, in Bangor, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal Service
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate individuals with disabilities to determine if they can perform the essential job functions and make recommendation for reasonable accommodations.
- →Conduct a comprehensive occupational medical surveillance examinations based on the real and potential health hazards encountered in the workplace.
- →Provide evaluation and treatment for work related injuries or refer injured person to the appropriate medical treatment facility or health care provider as needed.
- →Maintain liaison with health care providers to ensure proper placement of individuals in positions compatible with their physical capabilities.
- →Participate in conducting classes, attend safety/environment of care meetings, and provide occupational health guidance within organizations and activities.
- →Assist Physician or Department Head with writing, implementing, and updating standing operating procedures and medical protocols for elements within Occupational Health Program.
- →Implement and administer regulations governing the safeguarding of protected health information.
