About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of Soldier Medicine.
- →Assess, plan, evaluate, and modify the plan of acute and chronically ill patients.
- →Provide surveillance of adherence to medical and primary care practices and procedures to stabilize chronically ill patients.
- →Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medication and prescribe controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice for Physician Assistants.
- →Perform physical examinations such as military schools, employment, sports, annual, retirement, discharge, reenlistment, disability separation or retirement, and other special physicals.
- →Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients of treatment and medical care.
