About the Position: This position is located within Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA; located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Branch Medical Clinic. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Performs medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.
- →Examines patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.
- →Determines the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.
- →Diagnoses disease, illness disorder or injury.
- →Prescribes for and treats a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.
- →Position may require incumbent to provide preoperative and postoperative care, and may work as first or second assistants during major surgery.
