About the Role
About the Position: This position is located in Fort Hood, Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Perform initial patient work-up by securing a health and medical history from the patient or family members and records findings.
- →Examine patients and determine the need for and order laboratory tests, X-rays, physician consultation and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.
- →Write prescriptions and order the administration of medications in accordance with approved treatment protocols.
- →Make clinical decisions and diagnoses disease, illness or injury and works collaboratively with the physician in providing patient care, management and revision of therapeutic plans.
- →Record entries into patient’s chart including daily progress notes with test results, treatment plans and outcomes.
