This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is for a Physical Therapist (Holistic Health and Fitness) position located at CASCOM, US Army Ordnance School, H2F Directorate at Fort Lee, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Advanced knowledge of the full range of injury screening and prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.
- →Advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy skills, evidence-based practice, data collection and reporting as part of the H2F team.
- →Provide recommendations for injury screening and prevention.
- →Research, analyze, and report on injury control and program effectiveness.
- →Participate on the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Integration Team to establish policies and procedures for H2F injury control teams.
- →Plan and organizes professional injury screening and prevention, evaluation, and in close proximity to where Soldiers train daily.
- →Participate in injury control research, analysis and reporting to support H2F program at the brigade and Army-level.
- →Teach and assists other H2F teammates how to plan, coordinate, and implement goal-oriented group and/or focused individual PT treatment programs.
