You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENTIST (FLEET GEOSPATIAL INFORMATION & SERVICES) in the Director, Maritime Information Warfare (DMIW), Geospatial Information Charting Division of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop and maintain policy directives, instructions, and product allowances for USPACFLT Geospatial Information and Services (GIS).
- →You will represent USPACFLT at conferences, meetings, and workshops, and act as the main contact for GIS issues.
- →You will ensure accuracy and consistency whenever changes are needed, such as updating planning procedures, techniques, or methods.
- →You will work closely with several agencies to coordinate tasking, collection, and production of GIS products and services.
- →You will be responsible for developing, carrying out, monitoring, and evaluating GIS activities.
