This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent is responsible for coordination of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Munition of Concern (MEC) remedial actions, construction, and direction of the Garrison's environmental programs/projects.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate project teams to integrate planning, design, and construction phases for complex remedial actions.
- →Control project milestones and budgets by analyzing cost reports to ensure alignment with financial commitments.
- →Represent the environmental branch during stakeholder negotiations with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- →Integrate customer requirements into comprehensive management plans addressing unique hazardous waste and munitions safety issues.
