About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, BLANCHFIELD Medical Treatment Facility. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Performing eye exams, including dilated checks of the back of the eye; and complete accurate manifest refractions to determine glasses prescriptions Perform cycloplegic refractions to assess vision without accommodative influence.
- →Evaluate patients for refractive surgery candidacy with clear and thorough assessments.
- →Removes ocular foreign bodies and manages anterior segment trauma.
- →Comanages complex cases with ophthalmologists and refers patients appropriately.
- →Delivers educational sessions to enhance staff proficiency and clinic efficiency.
