About the Role
You will serve as a OPERATION RESEARCH ANALYST in the DEPERATMENT OF NAVY NAVAL EDUCATION & TRAINING COMMAND of NVRECRUITNGCMD.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform professional and scientific work requiring the design, development, and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques.
- →You will function as an Operations Research Analyst (ORA) and ensure that day-to-day operational functions are conducted seamlessly with minimal guidance.
- →You will prepare reports addressing problem definitions, analytical methodologies, findings, recommendations and alternative courses of action.
- →You will support staff planning by participating in Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) to provide feedback and recommendations to the Commander and staff.
- →You will be responsible for the development of new analytical products based on business needs, additions and improvements to existing products, as well as automation of said analytical products.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
