About the Position: This position is located at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Occupational Therapist performing a variety of occupational therapy duties to full range of patients. Typical clinic hours range from 0700-1530 or 0730 to 1600. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide evaluation and therapeutic interventions to a full range of wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families.
- →Develop and implement complex, goal-oriented treatment plans for patients.
- →Apply the use of therapeutic modalities and new integrative techniques and technologies for the purpose of evaluation and ongoing treatment.
- →Provide patient/family education on the injury/disease process.
- →Develop protocols and standing operating procedures for Occupational Therapy programs.
- →Interpret test results to assess nature and degree of deficits and/or outline appropriate treatment plan, goals and objectives.
- →Measure patient capability using standardized clinical tools, direct observations, interviews, and medical history reviews.
- →Provide technical supervision, oversight, and collaborative direction to Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).
- →Provide clinical instruction to Occupational Therapy OT and/or Occupational Therapy Assistants OTA students.
