This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Forces Command, 3ID, 2nd Brigade Combat Team H2F, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.
- →Develop programs to optimize performance behaviors or mitigate injury risk.
- →Perform formal and informal evaluations in the various areas, such as physical, psychological, cognitive, activities of daily living (ADLs), functional and adaptive skills, and work and occupational role performance.
- →Plan, coordinate, and implement goal-oriented group and/or behavioral-focused individual treatment programs.
- →Apply the use of therapeutic modalities and new integrative techniques and technologies.
- →Participate on an interdisciplinary team to coordinate the rehabilitation or wellness activities for individual Soldiers or groups of Soldiers with the brigade.
- →Educate on the injury/disease process and its effect on function, joint protection, energy conservation, ergonomic needs, work simplification, and cognitive compensatory techniques.
