About the Position: This position is located in the at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a range of personal care which includes bathing, feeding, lifting, turning, ambulating, transporting patients and providing oral, hair, skin and related hygiene care.
- →Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- →Observe patients for changes in conditions and report as needed.
- →Collect or assist in collection of specimens and test selected specimens such as finger sticks for glucose, specimens for occult blood, etc.
- →Assist in providing patients with basic and general information regarding self-care and therapy to ensure compliance with physician's orders.
- →Record observations and other pertinent data on appropriate records.
