About the Role
About the Position: This position is located in the Director for Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, Family Medicine Clinic. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Obtains basic history, physical information, and chief complaint for patients visiting ambulatory clinics.
- →Provides health care to a range of patients presenting with complex or multiple systems dysfunctions and/or disorders.
- →Addresses health promotion topics with patient.
- →Reports significant changes and health concerns.
- →Performs and/or assist with procedures within the scope of practice to include EKGs, Ear Irrigations, Swabs, sterile dressing application and packing, specimen collection, suture/staple application and removal, and applying orthopedic splints.
- →Ensures proper computer entry of patient data and equipment settings.
- →Ensures adequacy of supplies in patient care areas.
- →Documents patient requests for medication refill for providers.
