About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Cavazos, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Takes and records vital signs reporting deviations to a senior member of the health care team.
- →Obtains blood and other specimens, provides appropriate labeling, and completes lab/X ray forms.
- →Transports patients via wheelchair/stretcher to wards, clinics, X ray etc.
- →Assists physician/physician assistant with procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
- →Performs catheterizations, irrigation's care of drainage tubes, suction, administration of oxygen, IPPB treatments, application of pressure to stop open bleeding.
- →Treats wounds, irrigates area, and applies dressing and bandages to wounds.
- →Performs various administrative support duties as assigned by charge nurse or shift leader.
