About the Role
The Marion VA Health Care System is seeking a full-time RESTORATIVE Nursing Assistants to join the Community Living Center (CLC) within Nursing Service, located in Marion, IL. The Restorative Care Nurse Assistant performs the essential function of providing restorative care programs under the direction of the Restorative Care Registered Nurse and is responsible for extensive documentation as well as competency in restorative care
What You'll Do
- →The Nursing Assistant may perform these duties in a variety of health care settings such as outpatient, inpatient, home, or community living care, acute, subacute.
- →The Nursing Assistant will care patients/residents with acute to chronic conditions.
- →Restorative Care Programs contribute to the well-being of residents at the Community Living Center by improving or maintaining the functional ability of the resident.
- →This position potentially requires flexibility in schedule and assignments, as this is a 24/7 hospital.
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Work Schedule: Primary Day shift rotating weekends Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases When setting pay, a higher step rate of the appropriate grade may be determined after consideration of higher or unique qualifications or special needs of the VA (Above Minimum Rate of the Grade).
- →Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.
