About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 63rd Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site 64, Storage Branch located in Fort Hood, Texas. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. What You'll Do
- →Operate a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment such as generators, wheeled/track vehicles and semi-trailer combinations.
- →Operate various types of forklifts and equipment to complete loading, unloading, warehousing, and preparing equipment and supplies for transport.
- →Transport equipment that may be oversized or overweight.
- →Ensure load weights are properly distributed and secured.
- →Take oil samples and prepare them for shipment.
- →Service vehicle braking systems and lights.
- →Perform preventative maintenance checks and services.
- →Receive incoming warehouse items and equipment and check them for damage and serviceability.
- →Issues and stores equipment in the warehouse.
- →Prepares various accountability documents and warehouse reports.
