About the Position: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). 4 vacancies in the following location: Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. DD1314 bargaining unit. Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B License with Category 8 or higher designation. What You'll Do
- →Operates a passenger bus with an appropriate gross vehicle weight up to 30,000 pounds and with passenger capacity ranging from 44 to 72 students.
- →Assists in the loading and unloading of children with special needs and their equipment, as well as assisting these students in getting to and from their classrooms.
- →Responsible for the general cleaning of the bus to include cleaning inside of the bus daily.
- →Reports all disciplinary action to the school principal and the DOA.
- →Conducts maintenance and safety checks on the school bus prior to beginning all routes.
- →Records school bus route and schedule on the trip ticket.
- →Reports problems to the designated government representative (DOR).
