What You'll Do
- →Review, examine, and resolve problems of substantial difficulty relating to discrepant MMPA''s and MMPA''s that have been dropped or partially dropped due to programming deficiencies.
- →Provide guidance and assistance to lower graded associates in resolving problems..
- →Use comprehensive operating instructions (such as formats, overlays, special characters and coding variations),identifies the problem, to correct the MMPA and/or summary accounts file, control total, and other related transactions.
- →Work with systems analysts, programmers, and control analysts in examining and interpreting problems encountered in the system.
- →Act as technical advisor to other DMP personnel on preparation of DFAS IN unique transactions either by formal or informal training sessions.
Requirements
- ✓GS-05 Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:Four years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
- ✓GS-06 Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Six months of graduate education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled.
- ✓GS-07 Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience:One full year of graduate level education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required when it is directly related to the work of the position being filled.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
- ✓If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply.
- ✓To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S.
