Selectee will serve as a Medical Technician (Phlebotomist) in Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&MLS) and VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha, NE. The technician performs phlebotomy in the emergency room, inpatient, outpatient, and extended care areas of the hospital and associated clinics. The Medical Technician performs both routine and specialized testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and serology in support of a medical laboratory

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen to apply for this job DESIGNATED DRUG-TESTING POSITION: Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
