About the Role
About the Position:This position is located at 78th Medical Group at Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia. It is located near the city of Warner Robins, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Incentives MAY be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Perform complex laboratory tests and examinations in the chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, immunohematology, and microbiology sections of the laboratory.
- →Select appropriate test methodology to use and recognize when test values are positive or exceed a defined decision limit.
- →Evaluate validity of data in relation to the test system and assay procedures.
- →Conduct diagnostic tests on species of bacteria for positive identification.
- →Calibrate analyzers and other equipment and run quality control samples to ensure validity of tests.
- →Advise doctors and clinic personnel on specimen collection and submission.
- →Draw blood by venipuncture and take capillary blood samples for test procedures.
