About the Position: This position serves as a Certified Medical Assistant. This position is responsible for clinical and administrative tasks to support doctors, nurses, and patients by assisting with some patient care and office administration. This position is located in Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Complete screening of patients for Privilege Providers to include recording chief complaint, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, height, weight, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other moderately complex tests.
- →Follow standing orders for dose adjustment of immunization in accordance with Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and other applicable guidelines.
- →Instruct patients and families on various subjects, such as the proper procedure or following receipt of immunization in accordance with established protocols.
- →Obtain urine samples, performs urine dipstick, finger sticks for blood glucose, inputs lab requests in the appropriate medical database system.
- →Assist providers with in-clinic procedures, prepares and positions patient, prepares instruments and supplies, hands supplies to provider and cleans instruments according to instructions for use.
- →Receive telephone calls, patients, and visitors to the medical facility to determine the nature of the call or visit.
- →Schedule appointments with the appropriate clinic and health care provider.
