About the Position:This position is located at Brooke Army Medical center in San Antonio, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform daily spore testing and sterilizer control measures as it relates to quality assurance, principles of sterilization and elimination of cross contamination.
- →Assemble a wide variety of instrument trays and sets used for medical and surgical procedures .
- →Perform all phases of sterilization and high level disinfection.
- →Assemble and sterilize intricate surgical trays and microsurgery instruments for the operating room.
- →Rotate and restock outdated supplies on a daily/weekly basis.
