About the Position: This position is located in Tacoma, Washington This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Advanced in hire may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide continuous ECG rhythm observation while concentrating on observation of patient status through review of ECG strips and recognition of arrhythmias.
- →Provide assistance of a technical, specialized, or support nature to health and medical personnel in supporting the diagnostic or treatment process of patients with cardiac conditions.
- →Recognize problems through continuous EKG monitoring with accurate recognition and documentation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias and interval measurements.
- →Observe and report rhythm changes that may correlate with medications and communicates deviations in baseline rhythms to registered nurse timely.
- →Provide continuous monitoring of cardiac rate, rhythm, and patterns of conduction at a central monitoring station for patients.
- →Maintain clean monitor screen and telemetry monitoring work area to ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
- →Prepare, deliver and actively participate in the unit's educational in-service programs provided to staff and patients.
