About the Position: This position Is located in the Department of Medicine, Sleep Laboratory Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Independently prepares, calibrates, interfaces, and operates all equipment used in polysomnographic procedures.
- →Operates polysomnographic recording instruments to obtain an electroencephalographic record of patients sleep.
- →Prepare the patient for tests reassuring the patient, providing basic education concerning the nature of the testing, allaying fears, or misconceptions.
- →Makes minor repairs and performs operator level maintenance to the equipment used for sleep disorders evaluation.
- →Post calibrates all the equipment used for the polysomnographic procedure.
- →Independently interprets data obtained from all night recording.
