The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician, accomplishes a variety of duties involving assisting in readiness and capability to perform peacetime/wartime mission, to support programs and systems which ensure members are properly trained and equipped, to provide peacetime/wartime medical support, and to provide training to members in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
What You'll Do
- →Provides direct support to the senior Air Reserve Technician in planning, directing, implementing, and controlling all elements of medical unit on a day-to-day basis.
- →Provides support toward conducting studies, collecting data and identifying trends.
- →Assists in reviewing status of training and personnel assets.
- →Completes tracking of unit funds and medical/non-medical supply expenditures and activities.
- →Coordinates with appropriate authorities to determine medical support requirements.

- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is an Air Reserve Technician Enlisted position.
- ✓Air Reserve Technicians are part of the regular civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.
- ✓In addition, ARTs are required to maintain active membership in an Air Force Reserve unit so long as they occupy Air Reserve Technician positions.
- ✓As members of reserve units, ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month.
- ✓In addition, they are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay.
