You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLER in the Distribution Management Office (DMO), and Consolidated Material Service Center (CMSC) of the Center Logistics Division, Installation Support Directorate of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Materials Handler and receive, store, issue and ship material and supplies to include handling hazardous material and/ or hazardous waste (HM/HW).
- →You will will be required to check shipping documents to verify incoming and outgoing shipments and use automated material identification equipment connected to inventory, tracking, and to select storage locations for items being received.
- →You will perform work involved in handling, marking, and preparing displays of merchandise or other items for selection by customers.
- →You will observe, count, and maintain stock levels, and match names, codes, numbers, or sizes of items to lists on which these items are shown.
- →You will organize, arrange, rotate, and remove stock in accordance with established procedures to prevent damage, deterioration, and loss of property.
- →You will prepare documentation for disposal of materials by shipping to a new location, transfer to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services, a Qualified Recycling Program, or landfill sites.
- →You will maintain documentation such as logs and records for Logistics Division that are mandated by local, State and Federal regulatory agencies You wil search automated databases to identify items as to their proper category in preparation of HW for ultimate disposition.
