What You'll Do
- →Functions as a Warehouse Worker Supervisor in the FPI warehouse at a Federal Bureau of Prisons' facility.
- →Supervises subordinate warehouse worker foreman and inmate workers who are responsible for receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing a wide variety of supplies, materials, equipment and commodities required in the FPI operation of the facility.
- →Responsible for the entire warehouse operation for FPI including receipt, handling, storage, issue, accountability, distribution and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- →Prepares and maintains adequate shipping and receiving documents and inventory documentation, using both manual procedures and automated data processing systems, so as to maintain a system of perpetual inventory accountability for all items that pass through or remain under incumbent's control and supervisor.
- →Supervises the issuance of raw material, inventory components and supplies to meet dynamic factory production.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
