About the Position: This position is located at Bldg. 4389 Beaufort Rd in the Materiel Management Warehouse and is temperature controlled. Work is performed 8 hours per day, M-F (except Federal holidays) within core hours of 0700-1630.
What You'll Do
- →Receive and store specialized materials, equipment and medical gases for a medical facility.
- →Manage and dispose of hazardous waste and materials in accordance with policies and procedures.
- →Inspect materials prior to receiving for safe handling of hazardous property.
- →Maintain accountability of property until a determination is made for proper disposal.
- →Utilize computer applications, such as, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Defense Medical Logistics Support Systems (DMLSS), word processing, spreadsheet, and database design systems to manage equipment and materials.
