Position is located within the Storage Section, Central Distributions Center, Defense Commissary Agency, Europe. Located within a distribution warehouse, the position is responsible for a variety of work involved in the receiving, warehousing and shipping of perishable and semi-perishable goods.
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of technical duties supporting the receiving, storing, selecting and shipping of stocked merchandise, with full independence.
- →Responsible for a bay, area, portion of warehouse or certain critical line items.
- →Continually monitor receiving process, identify discrepancies (under/over shipment), any damages.
- →Operate all types of materials handling equipment for which licensed among these are electric, gasoline, or diesel-powered forklifts, pallet jacks.
- →Complete all required documentation for each aspect of work and maintains accurate records.
- →Conduct full or partial inventories as required and analyzes reports or findings to identify discrepancies.
- →Provide guidance to lower graded employees on correct procedures, methods and techniques.
