About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Maintenance Worker for the project office to which assigned. The maintenance staff operates and maintains one or more flood control dams and recreation areas.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of maintenance, repair and operational duties for the park office to which assigned.
- →Maintain and repair equipment such as, hydraulic gates, hoists, hangers, cranes, elevators, sump pumps, water systems pumps, chlorinators and stand-by generators.
- →Inspect circuit breakers and fuses.
- →Weld similar metal components together to fabricate or repair equipment.
- →Use gas welding, brazing or arc welding.
- →Carpentry: Construct, install, repair or modify items and structures.
- →Collect humidity, temperature and wind velocity readings from weather instruments.
- →Operate a variety of vehicles and vessels.
Requirements

- ✓For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
