You will serve as a MAIL CLERK in the Mail Facility of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER JACKSONVILLE.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide a variety of postal services in the mail facility at the assigned command.
- →You will open containers, bags, and pouches, sign for accountable mail, and sort mail by primary distribution point.
- →You will receive, sort, and distribute outgoing postal, consolidated/guard mail, and packages received from authorized commands.
- →You will operate a wide variety of automated processing equipment such as the Mail Arrival Tracking System, postage machines, facility microcomputers, and bar-code scanners.
- →You will load/unload mail onto a motor vehicle.
- →You will operate a motor vehicle for delivery and pickup up material between the main office and predetermined routes.
