About the Role
About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
What You'll Do
- →Plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
- →Establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules and methods and policies established by higher levels of supervision.
- →Explain work requirements, methods and procedures; Instruct subordinates in new procedures.
- →Investigates work related problems (e.g., low productivity) to identify causes; implements those corrective actions that can be taken within the limits of incumbents authority.
- →Develops performance standards, counsels employees on performance, and makes formal and informal performance appraisals.
