Northern Arizona VA Health Care System is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Nursing Perioperative team!

- →Knowledge and ability to appropriately carry out assigned patient care based on the patents' conditions; to use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments; and to accurately recognize, report and record relevant patient information.
- →Receives requests or instructions for procedures.
- →Interprets requests or instructions for medical or health care personnel.
- →Receives assignments for a variety of examinations.
- →Determines technical factors and operates equipment and instruments.
- →Adjusts and adapts specialized equipment for procedures.
- →Performs a range of diagnostic support duties such as taking, recording and reporting to the provider deviations in vital signs, taking specimens, labeling specimens for the laboratory.
- →Secures the confidences and cooperation of patients during procedures.
- →Provides general clerical/administrative support coordination work for the unit.
- →Coordinates all activities for the clinical area, avoiding conflicts in patient treatment plans.
- →Work Schedule: Full-time.
- →Monday - Friday, 07:30AM- 4:00PM, but work schedule may be adjusted to meet the needs of the service.

Requirements
