About the Role

This position is located at Rumpel Fitness Center, Fort McCoy, WI. Announcement will have a first cutoff date of May 28, 2026, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Leads a staff of 3-12 employees who perform work up to the NF-0189-03 level.
  • Leads and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis.
  • Sets the pace of work to be performed.
  • May train lower graded or new employees.
  • Instructs and/or assists in group fitness classes and proper exercise techniques, proper use of equipment to prevent injury, safety measures, cardiovascular training, stretching, weight training, water aerobics.
  • Supports aquatic facility through lifeguarding and instructing and/or assisting with swim lessons.
  • May be required to help plan, conduct, publicize and arrange support for a variety of sponsored events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
  • May be required to operate a government vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
