The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a HQ Air Force Test Center (AFTC) Lead Human Resources Specialist (Personnel Programs) at the 96th Test Wing, Eglin AFB, FL.
What You'll Do
- →Consistently exercises independent judgment in directing and assigning work amongst employees by using determinative factors such as team members' expertise, experience, competence, workload availability, work priorities and team member functional development.
- →Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for the pre-employment team to ensure operations align with regulatory requirements, federal law, policy, and processes to support goals, and mission requirements.
- →Provides installation level human resource advisory services to management at all levels.
- →Conducts meetings with management officials to discuss work status, obtain feedback on civilian personnel programs, and to stay informed or collaborate on issues such as new or emerging workload, long-range workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and other personnel programs.
- →Prepares reports or findings and provides administrative guidance and technical advice to leadership, human resource specialists, human resource liaisons, and functional offices.
