This position is located at: Community Recreation Division-Parks and Fields - Fort Hood, Texas. Love the outdoors? Join an amazing team and help keep our Army base beautiful. Come work with our Parks and Field team here at Fort Hood. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy and working indoors or outdoors in all weather.
What You'll Do
- →Operate large, complex riding lawn mower (e.g., multiple and independently controlled cutting decks) and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment.
- →Equipment characteristics include single function performance and components that are independently controlled through various hydraulic and/or mechanical devises.
- →Performs tasks that require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases.
- →Detailed procedures (e.g., preparing ground for sod, flowers and shrubs) following drawings, specifications while utilizing a knowledge of project requirements.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
