About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Eaglewood Golf Course on Join Base Langley-Eustis VA - Langley location. This is a Temporary position, not to exceed 21 November 2026. This position is guaranteed 0 hours per week but can be scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. May be subject to nights, days, weekends, Holidays, and on-call work.
What You'll Do
- →Maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels, and flags when needed, removes debris, empty garbage containers, and cleans flowerbeds.
- →Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, string trimmers, low- pressure sprayers, power blowers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners.
- →Rakes and maintains sand bunkers, sets tee markers and cups on greens daily, maintains ball washers removes debris.
- →Loads, unloads, moves, and stacks bulky items from trucks and other conveyances using hand trucks or dollies.
- →Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawn mowers, when this does not require heavy physical effort (for example, on steep grades); clears small trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet, or clipper.
- →Digs ditches, holes where grading and sloping is not required, fill holes with dirt and level bumps using shovels, hand tampers, and rakes.
- →Digs holes for plants, irrigation system, and tee boxes.
- →Performs other related work as assigned.
