About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. This is a Seasonal position Not-To-Exceed 31-OCT-2026. This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.
What You'll Do
- →Performs simple golf cart maintenance (i.e. replenishes fuel/charge levels, washes), readies golf carts for customer use, including pulling golf carts to the proper staging area for daily and tournament play.
- →Ensures that all carts are free of debris, clean, and in good working order.
- →Cleans and inspects rental equipment (golf clubs and pull carts).
- →Removes debris around buildings, waters lawns around buildings, and empties all garbage containers around and in the buildings.
- →Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, weed trimmers, pressure sprayers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners.
- →Picks up range balls from the driving range with mechanized equipment, also washes golf balls and loads dispensing machine.
- →Cleans glass partitions, mirrors, and inside and outside windows using stepladders and extension ladders.
- →Maintains restrooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- →Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls.
- →Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap.
- →Maintains supply of cleaning materials and advises supervisor when more supplies are needed.
