About the Role

This position is part of the WAPA Headquarters. As an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW), you will serve as a business systems analyst and applications developer while applying regulations, specifications, guidelines, and WAPA policies and procedures to operations, control areas, and merchant business to meet the needs of the business partner/customer. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. YOU WILL HAVE TO PHYSICALLY REPORT TO ONE OF THE DUTY LOCATIONS LISTED IN THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT.

What You'll Do

  • As an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW), some of your duties will include, but are not limited to: Defines and validates the need and feasibility for new technology functionality or processes through consultation with business partners/customers.
  • Serves as a consultant and business liaison in areas affecting users and business partners/customer, their functional interfaces, and the impacts of procedural modifications.
  • Provides business insight to IT personnel involving design applications that meet business partner/customer needs.
  • Participates in multifunctional development projects in software analysis to identify and resolve IT systems and applications issues.
  • Serves as a project team member for multiple, simultaneous IT projects for an assigned WAPA project.
