This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Quality Control (JLQ), Enterprise Shared Services (JL), Information Technology (J). A successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in the application of software quality assurance in the design, configuration, and building of testing tools, regression testing infrastructure, development of test scripts and optimization of information systems components to support automated testing framework designs and improvements.
What You'll Do
- →As an IT Specialist (Quality Assurance Analyst), you will: Implement test plans and summarize testing status within project and/or development teams.
- →Analyze test results and make recommendations to system architects, subject matter experts and product owners to resolve test failures.
- →Validate specifications and requirements for testability.
- →Develop test plans and test cases to address specifications and requirements.
- →Translate functional requirements into QA (Quality Analyst) test scripts.
- →Define product acceptance criteria with product owners and development teams.
- →Provide expertise in the design, configuration, and building of testing tools, regression infrastructure, and frameworks with technology such as Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- →Assess test plans, procedures and infrastructure for adequacy and completeness.
