This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/DISA GLOBAL - PLANS & PROGRAM DIV (ORG RN512).
What You'll Do
- →Performs information technology (IT) project management duties necessary for providing the organizational focus and synchronization efforts necessary to achieve organizational goals and operational effectiveness through a project management approach.
- →Prepares and presents briefings, reports, and recommendations to high-level personnel within DISA, command and staff at the field command, and other DoD components on the status of assigned IT projects.
- →Provides project management oversight and technical advice as required, to initiate, plan, coordinate, and supervise IT projects, emerging technologies, services and capabilities affecting the DISA Global operational mission.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
