About the Position: This position will be located in Charleston, South Carolina, Falls Church, Virginia, or San Antonio, Texas with the Defense Health Agency Administrative Support PEO organization. This position is a senior-level strategic planner and advisor for large-scale IT projects within the Defense Health Agency's healthcare system. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary and leave negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Works closely with the DHA Chief Information Officer (CIO) / J-6, division leadership, and other key stakeholders to plan for and coordinate the fielding of major Information Technology (IT) programs and projects.
- →Provides programmatic expertise to execute full lifecycle requirements of the IT programs/projects.
- →Works at a senior level to define, integrate, and implement strategic direction for IT Program/Project Management activities across the enterprise.
- →Participates in the planning of long-range program goals, objectives, and milestones designed to align the organization's information technology posture with broader national health IT mandates.
- →Briefs, influences, and educates executive-level military and civilian personnel on complex technical initiatives, system performance, and investment strategies.
- →Advises division and directorate senior leaders, as well as external steering committees, on high-level decisions relating to the IT programs/project concerns, risks, and issues.
