About the Position: Uses design and other technical experience to support Architect Engineer (A-E) contract development for Military Construction, Civil Works, and other District needs. Provides process and technical support through award of A-E contracts and Contract Officer Representative duties.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a technical expert in developing strategies for acquisition of new contracts.
- →Serves as a technical expert for the development and implementation of plans for contractor selection.
- →Serves as a technical POC for the Project Delivery Team to brief the Chief of the Contracting Office.
- →Develops Source Selection Plans for construction projects in conjunction with Project Managers and Contracting Officers in accordance with the Army Source Selection Manual and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- →Develops A-E scopes of work to procure A-E services for (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) IDIQ contracts and individual A--E selections that require A-E selection boards.
- →Assists the chairs of A-E selection boards by preparing all information, performs debriefings, and makes recommendations to the Contracting Officer for award.
- →Chairs Source Selection Evaluation Boards.
