About the position: This position is a Senior Project Engineer located in CAMPIA TURZII, ROMANIA.
What You'll Do
- →Leads all field and office engineering functions, oversees construction operations, reviews compliance, processes submittals, manages contract changes, ensures safety, and resolves issues for assigned projects.
- →As COR, authorized to approve payment estimates, progress schedules, submittals, and designate areas, signing all contractor correspondence as COR per AFARS authority.
- →Maintains liaison with stakeholders, directs HN engineers, participates in meetings, resolves disputes, coordinates partnering sessions, informs all parties on construction status, and organizes VIP visits.
- →Administers safety programs, conducts and attends safety meetings, enforces contract safety provisions, and serves as advisor on all safety matters within the field office.
- →Performs Assistant Attaché duties, represents the US Embassy at Department of State events, and maintains awareness of policies and security conditions as required.
