INTERDISCIPLINARY SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST / CHEMIST

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as manager, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over supervisory and nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Mass Spectrometry Flight.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Mass Spectrometry Flight.
- →Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and USAF CIL objectives.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
- →Represents the USAF CIL with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with nuclear scientists and technical experts from the Laboratory, Center, and contracted laboratories from the Department of Energy (DOE).
- →Utilizes expert-level professional knowledge of diverse mass spectrometry measurement systems, instrumentation, and methodologies.
