You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Clinical Supervisor in the Fleet and Family Readiness (N9) Division of NAS PENSACOLA. This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: FAP CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (0101) PSYCHOLOGIST (0180) SOCIAL WORKER (0185) Local Commuting Area Only
What You'll Do
- →You will supervise/oversee all aspects of the installation Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
- →You will organize, set, and monitor workflow of FAP.
- →You will control attendance and leave ensuring adequate work force is available at all times to accomplish the mission.
- →You will design and/or collaborate on special programs, services, and information and awareness presentations.
- →You will ensure FAP compliance and adherence to FAP certification standards.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: 0101 FAP Clinical Supervisor: Successful completion of a behavioral or social science degree, or a degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position being filled.
- ✓OR A combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- ✓OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrates knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. 0180 Supervisory Psychologist: Successful completion of a degree with a major or equivalent in psychology for a specialization other than clinical or counseling psychology.
- ✓Clinical psychology: Satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required.
- ✓Successful completion of a master's degree in social work with practicum.
