About the Position: The U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY is an academic institution located in the Hudson River Valley, 50 miles from New York City. The historic site is the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. West Point is a self-contained city with housing, a Department of Public Works, libraries, hospital, fire department, chapels, and restaurants. Employees have access to Eisenhower Hall Theater, Hudson Valley's performing arts center, and recreational facilities.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate closely with Department leadership to manage, execute, and monitor the various gift-funded margin of excellence programs within the organization.
- →Direct budgetary and administrative compliance for these initiatives by aligning resources, securing necessary United States Military Academy (USMA) approvals, and tracking expenditures.
- →Guide strategic donor relations and stewardship efforts in partnership with the Association of Graduates and key program leads.
- →Advise and support program leads on administrative requirements for departmental activities, including conferences, guest speakers, and cadet/faculty travel.
- →Oversee collaboration with external partners and agencies to deploy funding across co-curricular, extracurricular, and experiential learning opportunities.
- →Instruct students in area of expertise within the Department's academic programs.
- →You will support the personal growth and professional development of cadets in and out of the classroom as a role model for future leaders of the Nation.
